Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Mostly Consolidated snowpack with Low Hazard.  Pit photo shows thin wind skin at top that was reactive to ski cuts on steep rollovers, deeper and denser old wind slab below that resting on a layer of less consolidated snow. Deeper wind slab unreactive to ski cuts until completely isolated from surrounding snow.  Surface Hoar formation going strong with mostly clear nights and light winds. We skied a steep wind loaded slope and had fast sluffs that were big enough to entrain a skier or push them off course.
